Niagara Falls War of 1812 Anniversary

To commemorate the War of 1812 and the significant impact that the war had on the residents of Niagara Falls, the City of Niagara Falls War of 1812 Task Force was formed. Leading up to the bicentennial of the War of 1812, the Task Force supported fundraising efforts to renovate the Niagara Falls History Museum and has since co-ordinated many activities to bring attention to the wartime period of our past. The War of 1812 was a defining moment for the residents of Niagara and has contributed to the identity of our community and country.
